Nickel-Chromium Resistance Wires

Cr30Ni70 Nichrome wire
- Features:
- Cr30Ni70 is a high-performance corrosion-resistant alloy designed for excellent corrosion resistance and thermal stability. It is ideal for demanding aerospace applications. This high-resistance wire offers unmatched durability under extreme conditions. It is the preferred choice for aerospace engineers seeking reliable nickel-chromium heating elements and corrosion-resistant materials. Its chemical composition—30% chromium and 70% nickel—allows the wire to perform excellently in high-temperature environments, providing long-term oxidation resistance and mechanical wear capability. The alloy has high resistivity as well as good plasticity and formability. It maintains good ductility after use and features excellent weldability.
- Cr30Ni70 Resistance Wire is also known as Nikrothal 70, Chromel 70/30, N7, Hytemco, HAI-NiCr 70, Balco, Tophet 30, Resistohm 70, Cronix 70, Stablohm 710,70/30 Nichrome, NiCr70/30
- Advantages:
- Compared to Cr20Ni80, Cr30Ni70 is suitable for applications that need higher oxidation resistance, better corrosion resistance and higher electrical resistivity. Although Cr20Ni80 remains popular for general heating applications, Cr30Ni70 is the preferred choice in harsh environments demanding higher chemical tolerance and electrical performance.
