Nickel-Chromium Alloy Wires

Cr30Ni70 resistance wire
- Features:
- Cr30Ni70 is a high-performance resistance alloy designed for excellent wear resistance and thermal stability. It is highly suitable for demanding aerospace applications. This high-resistance wire offers unmatched durability under extreme conditions. It is the top choice for aerospace engineers seeking reliable nickel-chromium heating elements and corrosion-resistant materials. Its chemical composition—30% chromium and 70% nickel—enables the wire to perform exceptionally well in high-temperature environments, providing long-term resistance to oxidation and mechanical wear. This alloy has high electrical resistivity and good oxidation resistance. It retains good ductility after use and has excellent weldability.
- Cr30Ni70 Resistance Wire is also known as Nikrothal 70, Chromel 70/30, N7, Hytemco, HAI-NiCr 70, Balco, Tophet 30, Resistohm 70, Cronix 70, Stablohm 710,70/30 Nichrome, NiCr70/30
- Advantages:
- Compared with Cr20Ni80, Cr30Ni70 is suitable for applications that require higher oxidation resistance, better corrosion resistance, and higher electrical resistivity. Although Cr20Ni80 remains popular for general heating applications, Cr30Ni70 is the preferred choice in harsh environments demanding higher chemical tolerance and electrical performance.
